Our Mission

Staying Put in New Canaan is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer-supported organization dedicated to giving our seniors the practical means and social support to live their lives to the fullest, safely and confidently, in the New Canaan community.

Meet at snack bar (weather permitting) and enjoy the hot dogs! Mark your calendar.

Wed, July 8, 10 am: "Historic Barns: Yesterday and Today."
Member and renowned artist Kip Farrell will provide a guided tour of her acclaimed photography exhibit, as well as background on local barn preservation activity. New Canaan Historical Society. RSVP. Free.

Tues., July 14, 10:15 am: Ferry Ride and Picnic on Sheffield Island
Bring your own lunch. Lapham will supply water and dessert. Transportation from Lapham at 10:00 am. Return at 2:30 pm. Discounted fee: $22. Space limited to 20. RSVP.
